User Review & Complaints Policy

How user ratings, reviews and complaints are handled on GambleBallers.

Last updated: 18 September 2026

This policy covers user ratings, written reviews, formal complaints, supporting evidence, moderation and operator responses on GambleBallers. These are user-reputation features. User-rating aggregates are presented separately from GambleBallers editorial ratings.

1. User reviews

Where review submission is available, a user may submit a star rating and written account of their experience. Additional details such as experience date, country, category or evidence may be requested where relevant.

2. How the GambleBallers user rating is calculated

Only published GambleBallers user reviews count toward a GambleBallers user-rating aggregate for a brand. The number of published reviews should be shown with the rating so readers can judge how much feedback sits behind the average.

Brand reviews may also reference user ratings or review sentiment from established third-party resources for comparison. Those external signals must be attributed and kept separate from the GambleBallers user-rating aggregate.

3. Moderation

Submissions may be checked for relevance, spam, duplication, manipulation, personal data, abusive content and other publication risks. Automated signals may assist moderation but should not by themselves be treated as proof that a review or complaint is false.

4. Evidence

Evidence is private by default. A label such as “Evidence provided” or “Evidence reviewed” means that material was supplied or reviewed for relevance. It is not a legal finding that every statement in a submission is true.

5. Complaints

A formal complaint is a structured record of a substantive dispute such as a withdrawal, balance, account, verification, payment, bonus-term or responsible-gambling issue. We may ask for additional information or evidence before publication.

6. Complaint status

Where complaint tracking is available, a public case may show a status such as In Review, Awaiting Operator Response, Operator Responded, Resolved, Unresolved or Closed. A published complaint is an attributed user report, not automatic proof of wrongdoing.

7. Operator right of reply

Where operator-response functionality is available, a verified casino representative may respond to a review or complaint for a brand they are authorised to represent. The operator cannot edit the user's submission, change a user star rating or independently determine the complaint outcome.

8. Updates and corrections

A user may be allowed to update a review or provide a later complaint update. Revised material can be moderated before replacing or supplementing the published version. Material factual errors in moderation labels or status information should be corrected.

9. Content we may refuse or remove

We may refuse, redact or remove spam, threats, unlawful material, doxxing, copied content, promotional manipulation, coordinated rating activity, unnecessary sensitive information or claims that cannot be responsibly published in the form submitted.

10. Reports and disputes about published content

A published review or complaint may be reported for moderation. A report triggers review; it does not automatically remove the user's material or change the rating.

11. What GambleBallers does not decide

GambleBallers is not a regulator, court or ADR provider. Moderation and publication do not determine legal liability. A user may still need to use the casino's formal complaint process, an applicable ADR route, a regulator, payment provider or legal process.
