Aristocrat Interactive Explained: Platforms, Games and iGaming

Aristocrat Interactive is the business-to-business (B2B) online gaming technology division of Aristocrat Leisure. It supplies content, platforms and services used by gambling and lottery businesses. It is not a single consumer casino where a player opens an Aristocrat Interactive betting account. The distinction matters: a software supplier, the operator using that software and the entity holding the relevant gambling licence can be different companies.

This guide examines its products, NeoGames origins and UK licensing as at 3 November 2026. The wider group's segments are Aristocrat Gaming, Product Madness and Aristocrat Interactive.

What Is Aristocrat Interactive?

The division serves organisations that operate or support online real-money gaming, sports betting and lotteries. A customer may need game content, a content-distribution connection, a player account platform, a sportsbook or a digital lottery system. Aristocrat Interactive presents these as modular or combined solutions, depending on the product.

Its commercial role should not be confused with that of Aristocrat Gaming, whose core activity includes gaming machines and systems for regulated venues. Nor is it Product Madness, the group's free-to-play social-casino business. Those are separate reporting segments with different customers, regulation and revenue models.

An operator can buy Interactive technology while retaining its brand, customer relationships and regulatory obligations. The contractual allocation is not public for every customer.

Therefore, searches for “Aristocrat Interactive login” or “Aristocrat-owned betting websites” must not be mistaken for proof of a consumer-facing Aristocrat casino.

How Anaxi and NeoGames Became Aristocrat Interactive

Aristocrat had already been developing its online real-money gaming capability through Anaxi, its pre-existing online content and technology operation. It announced a proposal to acquire NeoGames in May 2023. The proposal and the later completed transaction should not be treated as the same event.

On 26 April 2024, Aristocrat confirmed that its acquisition of Neo Group Ltd, formerly NeoGames S.A., had completed. The company announced that Anaxi and the acquired operations would be managed together as Aristocrat Interactive. The acquisition added an established collection of iLottery, iGaming and online sports betting capabilities, rather than merely changing an existing casino's name.

NeoGames brought lottery technology and several related gaming-technology names. These identify functions or historical businesses, not necessarily current consumer casinos or immediate owners.

Integration of technology and controls continued beyond the corporate rebranding. The wider transaction chronology belongs in Aristocrat acquisition history.

iGaming, iLottery and Sportsbook Solutions

The easiest way to understand Interactive is by asking what problem the operator needs to solve. The official product site separates content and aggregation, iGaming and sports, customer experience solutions, and iLottery. The following map describes functions rather than promising that every service is supplied in every market.

Solution family What it supplies Typical customer need Important boundary
Game content Online casino games and related content technology Offer games in a regulated online catalogue A studio or supplier licence is not the player's casino licence.
Content aggregation Connections between game studios and operator platforms Integrate content from multiple providers Aggregation does not prove ownership of all third-party games.
iGaming platform Player account management and related integrations Manage accounts, customer journeys, KYC and payment connections The actual operator remains identifiable through its own terms and licences.
Sportsbook technology Betting interfaces, market integrations and settlement-support tools Run or enhance a sports betting product Supplying a sportsbook does not necessarily mean taking the bets.
iLottery systems Lottery account, draw, instant-game and engagement technology Connect digital lottery products with customer channels Lottery permissions and operating arrangements vary by jurisdiction.
Customer experience services Customer-data, CRM and engagement tools Manage messaging, segmentation and retention Product claims do not establish customer-specific performance.

The official iGaming & Sports page describes modular platforms, account management, sportsbook and managed trading services. Its performance claims are supplier descriptions, not independently verified outcomes.

The iLottery pages offer more detailed examples. Neosphere is described as a player account and marketing system; Neodraw supports draw-game management; Neoplay is a remote games server for interactive lottery games; and Neoengage addresses customer-data and marketing activity. These names describe components of an iLottery offer. They are not four consumer lottery brands owned by Aristocrat.

Integration with payment, KYC or external tools does not establish ownership of those third-party providers or prove customer-specific use.

A Real-World Customer: Michigan Lottery

On 22 July 2026, Aristocrat Interactive reported that its iLottery solution launched for the Michigan Lottery on 17 July, through NeoGames US, LLP, under a six-year agreement. The service combines player account management, draw technology, business intelligence, customer engagement and game content. This illustrates B2B delivery to an established lottery organisation - not ownership or operation of the Michigan Lottery. The supplier's announcement does not independently establish customer performance gains.

Where BtoBet, Pariplay, Aspire Global and Roxor Fit

The names inherited or brought together through the expanded Interactive portfolio are easier to understand as functional families than as a speculative ownership diagram.

Name Role in the ecosystem What not to infer
NeoGames Historical lottery-technology group and important source of the iLottery capability The former NeoGames S.A. name is not a separate current public parent of Aristocrat Interactive.
BtoBet Sportsbook technology, including platform capabilities for betting operators It is not proof that Aristocrat accepts every wager processed on a customer platform.
Pariplay Online game content and aggregation capabilities, historically associated with the NeoGames/Aspire portfolio Aggregating a studio's games does not mean owning that studio.
Aspire Global iGaming platform and services heritage within the acquired ecosystem The brand name alone cannot identify which legal entity holds a UK licence or operates a particular site.
Roxor Online gaming content and technology, associated with Aristocrat's online offering A content supplier is not automatically the consumer-facing operator.

These brands can outlast organisational changes. The table maps roles, not immediate legal parentage.

The failed Playtech acquisition does not make Playtech part of Aristocrat. Old Aspire white-label domains are likewise not verified current sister casinos.

The full group-level inventory belongs in Aristocrat brands and subsidiaries.

Who Is the Operator When Aristocrat Supplies Technology?

Consider a hypothetical, regulated UK casino brand using a third-party games catalogue. Its website may present a game supplied by a studio, obtained through an aggregator, hosted or integrated through another platform, and offered under the casino operator's own gambling licence.

The roles are separate:

  1. The content studio develops the game and associated software.
  2. An aggregator may provide the technical route to the operator's catalogue.
  3. A platform provider may manage accounts, back-office integrations or other systems.
  4. The consumer-facing licence holder is responsible for the licensed gambling activity it conducts, including applicable customer-protection obligations.

This is illustrative: one company may perform several functions. Actual roles need customer-specific evidence.

For a player, the responsible operator should be identified through the site's published terms and the relevant regulator's register. An Aristocrat logo in game credits does not, on its own, establish that Aristocrat holds the player's account or controls deposits and withdrawals. An operator's use of software likewise does not certify that the operator is authorised in every country.

Contracts may allocate service levels, content rights and territory restrictions. Their terms are generally private; B2B supplier revenue is not the total value of wagers. See Aristocrat business model for the economics.

UK Licensing: Software Permissions and Former B2C Activity

UK licensing must be analysed by legal entity and activity, not by the Aristocrat Interactive brand. The following entries were checked against the UK Gambling Commission's public business register on 3 November 2026. They are snapshots, and licences can change after that date.

Exact UKGC-listed entity Account Listed permission and licence number Status shown
Aristocrat Technologies Europe Limited 2602 Gambling Software Remote 002602-R-320729-006; also separate Gaming Machine Technical Full permissions Active
Roxor Gaming Limited 54440 Gambling Software Remote 054440-R-330650-009 Active
Aspire Global Limited 41204 Gambling Software Remote 041204-R-320742-011 Active
AG Communications Limited 39483 Bingo Remote, Casino Remote and General Betting Standard - Real Event Remote, under 039483-R-319409-019 Surrendered, 23 October 2026

The first three entities hold software or machine-technology permissions, not consumer casino licences. Aristocrat Technologies Europe also has separate machine-technical permissions.

The fourth row is materially different. The official UKGC record for AG Communications Limited, account 39483, gives an end date of 23 October 2026 for three remote consumer-facing permissions. This confirms surrender of those listed permissions for that named licensee. It does not establish that every Aristocrat-related UK software permission was surrendered or that the entire group exited UK technology supply.

The register does not explain why AG Communications surrendered the permissions. Its separate 2025 enforcement action is not a proven cause. See Aristocrat regulatory risks.

The UKGC page gives a Malta address for the entity named Aspire Global Limited under account 41204. That register entry supports the licence association; it should not be used to invent a company registration number, a wider parentage chain or the identity of similarly named entities in other jurisdictions.

An active software permission does not authorise every game or consumer brand. Operator and domain permissions require their own checks.

What the Distinction Means

Aristocrat Interactive's distinctive role is to combine game content, aggregation, online gaming platforms, sportsbook tools and lottery technology for business customers. The acquisition of NeoGames enlarged that capability, but it did not collapse every brand, legal company or licence into one entity.

For readers assessing an online service, the most useful question is not “Does Aristocrat Interactive have a UK licence?” It is: which named supplier provides which function, which named operator serves the customer, and what permission does each actually hold? That approach avoids mistaking a technology supplier for a casino and avoids turning a historical acquisition into an unsupported ownership claim.
