Is There a Ladbrokes Sports Free Bet in the UK?
Yes. The current official terms describe a new-customer welcome offer effective from 1 March 2026 until further notice. Eligible customers must have a verified account, be over 18, be resident in the UK or Republic of Ireland, have made no previous deposit and remain eligible for promotions. Ladbrokes' general reward help says free bets are usually usable on sports but can be market-restricted; it also explains that the free-bet stake is not returned as part of winnings and that a void selection does not return the free-bet token. That is useful background, but specific promotional terms still take precedence. A £5 free-bet token, for example, should not be described as £5 cash that can immediately be withdrawn.
Illustration, not a current Ladbrokes offer: If a £5 free bet at decimal odds of 3.00 wins and the £5 token stake is excluded from returns, the resulting payout would be £10 rather than £15. The actual eligible markets, payout and void rules must come from that token's terms. Promotional stake treatment differs from placing a normal £5 cash bet; comparing only the headline amount can therefore be misleading.

An official Ladbrokes 1-2-FREE page also describes a seven-day validity for a separate prize. Its entry rules should not be confused with the welcome offer, even where a deadline happens to match.
If the credited token is approaching expiry, check its usable markets and any restrictions rather than placing a hurried bet just to avoid losing it. An expired promotion is not a reason to stake additional money.
What About “Bet £5 Get £20” or “Bet £5 Get £30”?
Both phrases appear in Ladbrokes-related searches, but “Bet £5 Get £20” is not a verified current offer. A previously observed £20 headline cannot now be supported by a stable live archive URL: the older promotions address redirects to the current £30 material. We therefore do not present that redirect as evidence of a historical campaign. The current official terms, checked 28 October 2026, substantiate the £/€30 promotion.
The £30 reward is specified as six £5 tokens for a qualifying sterling account, with four general sports, one football Bet Builder and one horse-racing Bet Builder allocation. Personal eligibility still depends on the full terms.
Before treating any offer as available, check the correct date, channel, currency, audience, qualifying stake and reward allocation. Avoid converting the mixed £/€ banner into a claim that a UK account is entitled to a specific euro-denominated promotion. Why Can't I Use My Ladbrokes Free Bet?
