FDJ UNITED Brands, Subsidiaries and Operating Companies

By Lucky BetMastermind · Research reviewed 6 November 2026 · with help of ChatGPT

FDJ UNITED brings together businesses that look quite different from the customer's side: France's FDJ lottery products, international betting brands such as Unibet, the UK-facing 32Red casino, an Irish lottery operator, gaming technology supplier Relax Gaming and payment services under Nirio. They are part of the same corporate story, but they are not all the same type of asset.

That distinction matters. A consumer brand may be operated by a separately incorporated company. A concession operator may run a lottery under rights granted by a national authority. A B2B supplier may sell gaming technology to operators outside its own group. A payment network may use retail infrastructure without taking a single casino wager.

Our portfolio map therefore identifies each name by function and evidence, rather than presenting every associated website as an FDJ UNITED casino. It also separates the present business from historical Kindred companies disposed of around the acquisition.

What Belongs to FDJ UNITED?

The group's listed parent remains La Française des Jeux SA, the French company registered under SIREN 315 065 292. FDJ UNITED is the corporate identity introduced on 6 March 2025, not a newly incorporated parent replacing that French company.

Its modern portfolio has several distinct parts:

  1. French lottery and retail betting brands with established physical distribution.
  2. International online betting and gaming brands, expanded significantly through Kindred.
  3. Irish lottery operations, with their own concession and local market identity.
  4. Gaming content, platforms and other B2B technology businesses.
  5. Payment and merchant services linked to the group's retail capabilities.

An operating company may own several brands, and a brand can appear in multiple jurisdictions under different legal arrangements.

For the broader economic context, see our FDJ UNITED company overview.

FDJ UNITED Portfolio: Brands, Entities and Roles

This is a selected, dated map, not a claim to list every incorporated subsidiary or trademark. The relationships below are drawn from the group's 2025 consolidation disclosures and identified operator records. A group-level relationship does not establish a particular immediate shareholder or a 100% direct holding.

Name Type Main role Relationship and important limit
FDJ UNITED Corporate identity Listed European gambling group Trading identity of La Française des Jeux SA, introduced in March 2025
La Française des Jeux SA Legal company French listed parent The parent, not one of several interchangeable “FDJ holding companies”
FDJ Consumer brand French lottery products, retail and digital National French offering; not itself a UK casino brand
ParionsSport point de vente Consumer brand/channel French retail sports betting Retail channel distinct from online platform and account migration
Unibet Consumer brand International online betting and gaming Inherited through Kindred; specific operators and offerings depend on jurisdiction
32Red Consumer brand UK-facing online gaming Connected to the acquired Kindred business; UK operator evidenced separately
ZEturf Consumer brand/business Horse-racing betting Distinct French racing proposition, not a synonym for FDJ lottery
Premier Lotteries Ireland DAC Legal operating company Irish National Lottery Irish concession operator, not Britain's National Lottery operator
Relax Gaming B2B technology/content Gaming content, distribution and poker technology Group technology business; casinos using its products are not thereby FDJ subsidiaries
Nirio Payments/service brand Payment accounts, merchant and retail solutions Payment transactions are not gambling stakes or group casino revenue
Aleda and L'Addition Technology/service businesses Retail and merchant software Relevant to Payment & Services, not consumer casino skins
Platinum Gaming Limited Legal operator UK online gambling operations Gibraltar company associated with Unibet UK and 32Red; UKGC account 45322

Some names, such as Unibet, are used across multiple markets and consumer products. The table deliberately does not assign every local domain to a single group company. Such an assignment requires current operator terms, registration details and regulatory records for each market.

FDJ and the French Lottery and Betting Brands

FDJ remains the familiar public-facing name of the French lottery business. It reaches players through a substantial physical network and digital channels, including draw and instant-win products. That distribution and the relevant exclusive rights are central to the group's French business, but do not make every FDJ UNITED activity an exclusive lottery operation.

The French betting portfolio needs another distinction. ParionsSport point de vente concerns the retail betting channel, while online betting has undergone a branding and technology transition. The group confirmed the move of its French online activity to the Unibet identity by the end of the first quarter of 2026. ParionsSport en ligne therefore describes an earlier stage of the French online business, before the transition to Unibet.

ZEturf occupies a different position, associated with horse-racing betting. It should not be grouped with lottery draw products simply because both are marketed in France. Nor does the presence of these brands in an FDJ UNITED portfolio prove identical licences, customer accounts or product availability.

These are related businesses with different commercial and regulatory characteristics.

Kindred's Brands: Unibet, 32Red and the Wider Online Portfolio

The acquisition of Kindred was FDJ's largest expansion into international online gambling. FDJ announced a successful tender offer in October 2024, with settlement and consolidation beginning on 11 October 2024. It brought several recognised betting and gaming brands into the enlarged group.

Unibet is the clearest international name in that portfolio. It is a consumer brand, not the legal parent of the entire group. Its availability, product mix and operating company can differ from one country to another. The UK, for example, has its own applicable operator arrangements.

32Red is particularly relevant to British readers. It is a UK-facing online gaming brand associated with the acquired Kindred operation. The UK Gambling Commission's public register identifies Platinum Gaming Limited as the operator associated with both 32Red and Unibet UK. Platinum is incorporated in Gibraltar. Its UK contact address does not change that legal status.

The historical Kindred portfolio also includes names such as Maria Casino, Bingo.com, CasinoHuone, Otto Kasino, Kolikkopelit and Vlad Cazino. Their inclusion in old brand inventories is useful historical context, not sufficient evidence that every site remains active, is marketed in the same country or holds a current UK permission. We do not recommend treating an old “Kindred casinos” list as an up-to-date map of the FDJ UNITED group.

The company records reviewed identify Kindred Group Limited as the current name from 22 May 2025, with the historical name Kindred Group plc applicable to the preceding period. The Maltese registration is C 39017. Using the former plc suffix in an undated current-entity table would confuse a historical label with the later legal record.

For those looking up individual brands, “part of FDJ UNITED” describes its place in the wider group. It does not prove that a brand is a direct subsidiary of the French parent, that every operator uses one platform or that the same customer account functions internationally.

Who Operates Unibet and 32Red in Britain?

The UK example demonstrates why a brand list cannot replace an operating-company map.

The UK Gambling Commission records and consumer operator disclosures identify Platinum Gaming Limited under UKGC account 45322, with permission covering specified gambling activities. The public register also links www.unibet.co.uk and www.32red.com to Platinum. This is evidence of the regulated operator relationship for the relevant domains, not a promise that every licensed vertical appears on every website.

A separate company, 32Red Limited, previously held a UKGC licence but surrendered that particular licence on 12 March 2025. Saying simply “32Red lost its licence” would be misleading because it confuses a legal company and a continuing consumer brand under another documented operating arrangement.

The same caution applies to domain variations and white-label arrangements. They can show a regulatory relationship without establishing current consumer availability. A comprehensive country-by-country treatment belongs in our FDJ UNITED markets, operators and licences guide.

Ireland: Premier Lotteries Ireland and the National Lottery

Premier Lotteries Ireland DAC (PLI) is another important company in the group, but its role is fundamentally different from that of Unibet or 32Red. PLI operates the Irish National Lottery under an Irish concession.

The wording matters for a British audience. Ireland's National Lottery is not the British National Lottery, whose operator is Allwyn. The similar names refer to separate national arrangements, customers and regulatory structures. An FDJ UNITED ownership relationship with PLI does not make the group the operator of Britain's lottery.

PLI's place in the portfolio also illustrates why a corporate map should distinguish an operating company from the consumer lottery it runs. The concession, its term and its operating conditions are not equivalent to ownership of a universal right to offer lottery products across Europe.

Relax Gaming: Technology Supplier, Not Another FDJ Casino

Relax Gaming belongs in a different category from consumer betting and casino brands. It supplies gaming technology, content and B2B services. Its commercial customers may include independent operators using its content or distribution tools.

This means a casino displaying a Relax game is not automatically part of FDJ UNITED. Supplier-customer relationships are not group shareholdings. A listing of Relax slots on a third-party site also cannot establish the current legal parent, the geographical availability of a game or the actual terms of a B2B contract.

Relax-related technology also has roles beyond slot content. The French regulator's documented approval of specific RELAX KPAM poker software concerns a defined technical and operator scope. It is not a blanket approval for every Relax game or an online casino slots licence in France.

FDJ UNITED's technology strategy also includes the proprietary Kindred Sportsbook Platform (KSP) and rollout work in particular markets. We distinguish deployed functions and regulator-approved components from management targets for wider deployment by the end of 2027. Neither a shared technology supplier nor a migration plan proves that all group brands use one global login or wallet.

The economic implications of technology ownership, platform migration and B2B distribution are covered in our FDJ UNITED business model and technology analysis.

Nirio and the Payments Businesses

FDJ UNITED's Payment & Services activities should not be mistaken for a portfolio of extra gambling brands. They use part of the group's French retail and technological infrastructure for payment and merchant services.

The 2025 Integrated Report distinguishes Nirio Compte, a payment-account service, from Nirio Business, which supplies software and tools for merchants and points of sale. The portfolio also includes technology businesses Aleda and L'Addition, whose roles relate to merchant systems and services.

Payment transactions are not gambling stakes. Even where the same retail distribution infrastructure is involved, counting Nirio activity as casino turnover would distort the group's business mix.

Management said in October 2026 that it was reviewing certain non-core Payment & Services assets, alongside markets in the international online division, with conclusions expected by early 2027. A strategic review is not a completed disposal. Nirio, Aleda and L'Addition remain in this portfolio map; the review alone does not confirm a change of ownership.

Businesses No Longer in the Current Portfolio

A dated portfolio should tell readers not only what was acquired but also what was not retained.

Historical Kindred materials may still list Trannel International and Sporting Group. The reviewed corporate records document the disposal of Trannel International in late October 2024, with its subsequent renaming by the buyer, and the exit of Sporting Group later that year. They should therefore be treated as historical or disposed relationships, not presented as currently retained FDJ UNITED subsidiaries.

A pre-acquisition Kindred company list therefore describes a different portfolio from FDJ UNITED in 2026. The dates of the tender offer, consolidation, remaining share purchases and business disposals are distinct events. Our history and acquisitions study examines that sequence without confusing it with today's operating perimeter.

What the Portfolio Map Can and Cannot Prove

The relationship between a consumer name, a licensed operator and an ultimate parent may be clear even when an entire intermediate ownership chain is not. A consolidation table can support inclusion in the group; it may not identify every immediate shareholder, beneficial owner or trademark holder.

Group-level consolidation does not reveal every direct ownership percentage. Joint ventures, partners, white labels and technology customers also have different relationships with the group from those of wholly owned subsidiaries.

The portfolio can change through company sales, rebranding, operator changes, market exits and platform migrations. The relationships described here reflect the records available at the review date; narrower details remain open where those records do not establish them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does FDJ UNITED Own Unibet?

Unibet entered the enlarged FDJ group through the acquisition of Kindred in 2024. It is a consumer brand within the group's international online portfolio, not the legal parent.

Is 32Red a Subsidiary or a Brand?

32Red is the consumer-facing brand. The UK operating relationship is documented through Platinum Gaming Limited. The distinction matters because the historical 32Red Limited licence is not the same thing as the brand's present operating arrangement.

Is Relax Gaming an FDJ UNITED Casino?

No. Relax Gaming is primarily a B2B gaming technology and content supplier. Its clients are not automatically FDJ UNITED subsidiaries.

Who Operates the Irish National Lottery?

Premier Lotteries Ireland DAC operates the Irish National Lottery under an Irish concession. That is separate from Britain's National Lottery.

Are All Old Kindred Brands and Companies Still in the Group?

No such conclusion follows from a historical list. Trannel International and Sporting Group, for instance, were disposed of around the 2024 acquisition period. Other consumer brands require dated market and operating-entity checks.

Our Assessment

FDJ UNITED's portfolio is best understood as a set of different commercial roles under one listed group, not a single catalogue of casinos. French lottery brands, international online brands, an Irish concession operator, Relax Gaming's B2B technology and Nirio's payment services contribute in different ways.

The Kindred acquisition explains the group's expanded reach, but the exact current perimeter depends on legal companies, country-level operations and subsequent disposals. For readers, the useful question is not simply whether a name appears under the FDJ UNITED umbrella. It is what the name represents, what evidence connects it to the group, and whether that connection is current.
