Sky Bet My Bets, bet receipts, Profit & Loss and account transactions answer different questions. Begin at the official Sky Bet website and sign in to your sportsbook account. For access problems, use our Sky Bet login guide. Then choose the record that fits your question. Menu labels and available filters may vary.
| What You Need To Know | Record To Check |
|---|---|
| Is my wager still awaiting a result? | Open or unsettled bets |
| How was a particular wager calculated? | Settled bet and its receipt |
| Am I ahead or behind over a period? | Betting Profit & Loss, where available |
| Where did money enter or leave my account? | Deposit and withdrawal transactions |
How To Find Your Sky Bet Bets
Start with the individual bet, not your balance. In the signed-in sportsbook, look for My Bets or bet history. Avoid old deep links, which may require authentication or lead to outdated pages.
Use this order:
- Check open bets. An unfinished event is not yet a settled win or loss.
- Check past bets. Match the event, selection and approximate placement time, not just the stake.
- Read the receipt. It identifies the wager better than a balance change.
- Check the history period. Use available date controls to narrow your search.
Open Bets And Settled Bets
An open bet awaits settlement; a settled bet has a result applied. Voids, refunds and adjustments are not wins or losses. An available Cash Out quote does not mean settlement has occurred; see Sky Bet Cash Out. If a wager is missing, confirm you are looking at the sportsbook, then retain its event and placement details.
How To Read A Bet Receipt
A receipt helps establish whether a bet was recorded and settled correctly. Sky Bet has an official receipt guide. On-screen labels may differ.
| Receipt Detail | Why It Matters |
|---|---|
| Bet or receipt reference | Identifies the specific wager in an enquiry; it is not necessarily your customer or account ID |
| Placed date and time | Helps distinguish similar bets and locate the right history period |
| Selection, market and odds | Establishes exactly what outcome and price were accepted |
| Stake, bet type and lines | Shows the amount risked. For an each-way or multi-line bet, check Number of lines and Stake per line when assessing the total stake |
| Status, Returns and Refunds | Shows settlement and amounts paid back. Returns include the original stake where returned; Refunds separately identify money refunded on a void bet |
Check the accepted selection; a market labelled “win” does not prove your bet won. Returns are not the same as profit: the returned stake must be accounted for, and a void refund is not a betting win. For a disputed result, compare the receipt with Sky Bet's Bet Settlement Policy. Keep your reference private.
Sky Bet Profit And Loss Explained
Sky Bet profit and loss concerns your betting results over a period, not the amount in your account balance. Deposits, withdrawals and money committed to open bets can change the balance without representing a settled profit or loss.
For example, a straightforward £10 cash single settled with £25 Returns produces £15 net profit, not £25. A losing £10 single with no return produces a £10 loss. Across just those two settled bets, £25 total returns minus £20 total stakes equals £5 net profit. This is illustrative, not an account calculation. Each-way bets, multiple lines, Free Bets, voids, refunds and Cash Out need separate treatment.
Check whether the period uses the placement date or settlement date. A wager placed on Sunday and settled on Monday could fall into different reporting periods depending on that rule. Include only the bets relevant to the report's stated basis; an open wager must not be counted as a settled loss. Check for results that have not yet appeared.
Do not assume a separate Profit & Loss screen is available in your GB Sky Bet account, or that it uses the same date ranges as other Sky products. A screen in another Sky product does not verify Sky Bet features.
If no Profit & Loss view is available, compare the settled receipts you can access for your chosen period, noting each stake, return, refund and settlement date. This helps reconcile simple cash bets, not necessarily a full account statement. Ask Sky Bet support whether longer betting history or a statement is available; do not assume export is supported.
For money moving in or out of the account, consult payment records and our Sky Bet withdrawals and payments guide instead of adding deposits to betting returns.
My Account Settings And Limits
Sky Bet My Account is for managing account information and controls, while My Bets records wagers. After signing in, distinguish these tasks:
- Personal details: review the contact or identity information available to you. For unavailable changes, ask support about verification. A username change is not guaranteed.
- Preferences and security: review only settings actually offered in your account. If locked out, use the Sky Bet login guide.
- Limits and restrictions: check which betting or safer-gambling controls are displayed and whether an existing restriction is active. Setting a tighter voluntary limit is different from raising or removing one; the latter may involve different conditions or may be unavailable. Do not assume changing a setting will override a restriction.
For unavailable changes, verification or account-status problems, contact official support.
Closed Or Restricted Accounts
A closed account, verification hold, access error and self-exclusion are different. To reactivate a Sky Bet account, establish its status from the account message or official communication. Reopening is not guaranteed. For closure or restrictions, use Sky Bet support; for sign-in errors, use the login guide.
If A Bet Or Account Record Looks Wrong
First establish which records disagree. A bet result is not a payment transaction.
| Problem | First Check | Sensible Next Step |
|---|---|---|
| Bet missing from My Bets | Check product, account and history period. Was a receipt previously visible, or did no receipt appear after submission? | Give support the existing receipt reference if available; otherwise describe the attempted bet and ask whether it was accepted. A balance movement alone does not prove acceptance |
| Bet still open after the event | Whether all relevant selections are complete and settlement is pending | Compare the official settlement guidance; query a persistent discrepancy |
| Return differs from expectation | Accepted odds, stake, bet type, void/refund adjustments and market rules | Quote the receipt reference and the exact disputed calculation |
| Profit & Loss does not match your calculation | Reporting dates, settled versus open bets and what the summary includes | Compare individual receipts before querying the summary |
| Account record cannot be accessed | Whether the problem is sign-in, account restriction or a particular unavailable screen | Follow the login route for access problems, or support for account restrictions |
For disputes, keep dates, selections and the receipt number. Use our Sky Bet support guide, never public comments or unsolicited messages, for sensitive matters. My recommendation: check the bet, its receipt and settlement before comparing betting summaries or payment records.
