Bally’s Intralot S.A. is a Greek-listed gambling technology and online gaming group built around the former INTRALOT business and the international interactive operations acquired from Bally’s Corporation in October 2025. Its name can be misleading if the reader treats every company carrying the Bally’s brand as one legal entity. The listed Greek issuer and the American Bally’s Corporation have distinct corporate identities, even though the latter became the Greek group's controlling shareholder.
The group spans two markets: lottery systems and services for institutions, and online gaming for consumers through its enlarged interactive business. This overview explains the structure and directs readers to detailed dossiers.
What Is Bally’s Intralot?
The current corporate name is Bally’s Intralot S.A., formerly INTRALOT S.A. Integrated Lottery Systems and Services. The company is incorporated in Greece and identified in the Greek business registry by GEMI 818201000. It is a publicly listed company on the Athens Stock Exchange, with the ticker BYLOT in use from 15 January 2026. The former INLOT ticker belongs to its earlier identity, rather than the current listing.
Its roots reach back to 1992. The 2025 combination with Bally’s International Interactive (BII) expanded its reporting perimeter into consumer online gaming. Older INTRALOT descriptions may no longer reflect the group's mix.

Bally’s Intralot, Intralot and Bally’s Corporation: What’s the Difference?
Three connected names recur in filings and search results. Distinguishing them matters for ownership, acquisitions and financial reporting.
| Name | Corporate role | What readers should understand |
|---|---|---|
| Bally’s Intralot S.A. | Current Greek legal issuer and listed group | The entity at the centre of this cluster and its consolidated reporting |
| INTRALOT / Intralot S.A. | Former corporate name and continuing historical reference | Older documents and the INLOT ticker may describe the same issuer before rebranding and expansion |
| Bally’s Corporation | Separate American parent and controlling shareholder | Its US casino and other operations are not automatically subsidiaries of Bally’s Intralot |
| Bally’s International Interactive (BII) | International interactive business brought into the Greek group in 2025 | A transferred operating perimeter, not another name for the whole American corporation |
In October 2025, the Greek company acquired the international interactive business, while Bally’s Corporation received cash and shares, becoming the enlarged Greek group's controlling shareholder.
This does not mean Bally’s Intralot purchased every Bally’s-branded US casino or that every interactive brand shares the same licence. The legal chain between a corporate parent, a holding company and the consumer-facing operator is important. Our separate people and ownership dossier follows that question in detail; the brands and subsidiaries page maps the commercial perimeter without assuming trademark ownership.
What Does the Group Do?
The enlarged business combines two operating worlds. Their customers, contracts and sources of revenue differ, so “gambling company” is too broad a description on its own.
| Lottery technology and services, B2B/B2G | Online consumer gaming, B2C |
|---|---|
| The group supplies systems and services to lottery operators and public-sector programmes. | Group businesses provide online gaming services to players where their operators are authorised. |
| Products can include lottery software, terminals, operational services and related technical infrastructure. | Activities can include online casino, bingo and sports betting, subject to the individual brand and territory. |
| The immediate contractual customer is commonly an operator or public organisation. | The immediate commercial relationship is between an appropriately licensed consumer operator and the player. |
| Questions centre on contracts, implementation, duration, procurement and service performance. | Questions centre on brand operations, compliance, customer acquisition and player protection. |
The distinction matters because the two businesses have different sources of commercial exposure. A lottery technology supplier depends heavily on institutional contracts, procurement decisions and service delivery. An online gaming operator is more directly exposed to consumer demand, marketing costs and territory-specific gambling regulation. Bringing both into one reporting group does not make their economics interchangeable.
A lottery supplier is not necessarily the game operator; consumer brands may operate through licensed subsidiaries or territory-specific agreements.
For an overview of how the different activities generate revenue and costs, see our business model analysis. The lottery technology dossier looks specifically at platforms, services and the contractual side of the former INTRALOT business. We do not treat promotional descriptions of product capabilities as independently measured performance.
How Did the Current Group Take Shape?
The group's development is best read as a short sequence of changes in identity and perimeter, rather than as a single rebranding event.
- 1992 onwards, the INTRALOT foundation. The Greek business developed lottery technology and service operations before the Bally’s name appeared in its corporate title. Its pre-2025 reporting reflects a substantially different group perimeter.
- October 2025, the interactive combination closed. Intralot acquired Bally’s International Interactive, the international online business formerly associated with Gamesys. The SEC closing announcement is dated 9 October, while accounting references include 8 October as the effective consolidation date. Those dates serve different documentary purposes.
- January 2026, the current identity. The issuer adopted Bally’s Intralot and the BYLOT exchange symbol, bringing the changed corporate presentation into line with the enlarged business.
According to evoke's 23 October 2026 trading update, the proposed acquisition by Bally’s Intralot remained conditional at that date, with completion expected in late 2026 or early 2027. William Hill, 888 and Mr Green should not be presented as completed additions on the strength of that announcement alone. Our history and acquisitions dossier separates announced deals from closed transactions.
How to Explore Bally’s Intralot
Different questions require different evidence. The following map keeps this company overview compact and sends readers to the page responsible for the deeper answer.
| Your question | Where to go |
|---|---|
| Which brands, subsidiaries and commercial names belong to the group? | Brands and subsidiaries |
| How did the group develop and which acquisitions actually completed? | History and acquisitions |
| How do lottery contracts and interactive gaming produce revenue? | Business model |
| What do the company and consolidated group report financially? | Financial results |
| Who controls the listed issuer and who leads it? | People and ownership |
| What might change the group's prospects or expose it to losses? | Risks and opportunities |
| How does the lottery technology and services business work? | Lottery technology |
| How are the listed shares identified and how should market data be read? | Shares and chart |
Our financial and ownership pages separate the Greek issuer, its consolidated subsidiaries and the American parent. Their figures and regulatory permissions are not interchangeable.
In our view, the interesting story is not simply that an established lottery supplier moved into online gaming. It is that one listed group now combines contracts serving institutions with businesses serving individual players, while Bally’s Corporation remains a separate US-listed parent with its own reporting perimeter. Keeping the names, dates and reporting perimeters apart makes that business easier to evaluate without mistaking corporate publicity for proof.
