How to Use the Entain Share-Price Chart
The chart above displays the Euroland share graph linked directly from Entain's own Share Price Tools page. Its publicly accessible interface offers selectable intervals including one day, five days, three months, six months, one year and three years, alongside a custom date-range option. This lets readers explore Entain share price history across different periods.
Check that the selected security is Entain's London-listed ordinary share before reading a figure. Short-term movements may be easier to see on a one-day view; a multi-year view provides a different perspective on price performance. Neither view alone incorporates all dividends or tells you what a shareholder actually earned after dealing costs. If the provider offers a total-return option, do not mistake it for an unadjusted price line.
The provider explicitly warns that data is delayed by at least 15 minutes. Its displayed time, applicable market session and quote units matter. A market closure, a browser cache or a delayed feed can leave yesterday's close on a page that otherwise appears current. We deliberately do not reproduce an undated “live” price here.
Euroland supplies the interactive chart on this page. Its availability and updates depend on the provider; the article's dated share-capital and dividend tables do not update with the market feed.
Where Are Entain Shares Listed?
ENT is the London Stock Exchange ticker for Entain plc. Some finance services add a venue suffix and display ENT.L; this is a vendor naming convention, not a second company. The ISIN IM00B5VQMV65 identifies the ordinary-share security across compatible data services. Checking the ISIN helps distinguish the instrument from similarly named entities or historic records.
There are three different monetary descriptions worth separating. The company's ordinary shares have a nominal value of €0.01, a legal share-capital denomination. A London quotation may be displayed in GBX or pence, while another service may show the equivalent amount in GBP. Since 100 pence equal £1, a displayed price of 500p is £5, not £500. The hypothetical number illustrates conversion only; it is not an observed ENT quote.
Entain was formerly GVC Holdings and adopted its current name in December 2020. That history can explain why older services or chart addresses retain GVC labels. It does not mean an old Vienna listing or a historical GVC ticker is necessarily a suitable substitute for today's LSE ENT instrument. See Entain's corporate history for the wider chronology.
When comparing sources, match the venue, security, date, price adjustment and currency. Adjusted historical prices may differ from raw closes; confusing pence with pounds creates a hundredfold error.
What Determines Entain's Market Capitalisation?
Entain market cap is the market's equity valuation of the listed company's shares at a particular point in time. The basic calculation is the share price multiplied by the relevant number of shares. Both inputs need a common date, and the share-count basis must be defined.
Entain's shareholder disclosure gave 640,139,961 ordinary shares in issue and voting rights at 31 October 2026. That is a valuable dated denominator. It is not itself a £640 million market valuation, nor does it establish the precise share count at every later moment. Companies can issue shares for employee incentive plans, buy back stock or hold treasury shares; data vendors may therefore use differing outstanding-share conventions.
As a purely mathematical example, £5 per ordinary share × 640 million shares = £3.2 billion. The rounded share count and price are illustrative, not a claim about Entain's actual market capitalisation on 31 October or on the day you read this page. Any real calculation needs a verified London quote aligned to the chosen share-count date, with treasury-share treatment disclosed where relevant.
A broker's market-cap figure and the exchange's own company-value display may diverge because of quote delay, share-count methodology, corporate actions or an old closing price. It is more informative to record the source and timestamp than to present one fluctuating number as a permanent corporate fact. Market capitalisation also differs from enterprise value, which incorporates other financial claims and adjustments. Our Entain financial results page addresses the underlying debt and performance separately.
Entain Dividend History and Payment Dates
An Entain dividend is a distribution declared by the company for eligible ordinary shareholders, not a fixed return automatically earned by owning the shares. The board's declaration, the ex-dividend cut-off, the shareholder register date and the payment date are distinct events. A scheduled payment must not be presented as independently confirmed cash received merely because the calendar date has passed.
Entain's official dividend record shows a 9.8p 2025 interim distribution and another 9.8p second interim distribution relating to 2025, followed by the 10.3p interim dividend declared for the first half of 2026. These amounts are pence per ordinary share, not percentage yields. Its published 2025 fiscal-year total is 19.6p, whereas the 2026 entry on the company's historic table shows 10.3p so far; it must not be annualised as if a second 2026 distribution were already approved.
| Financial period / event | Amount per share | Ex-dividend | Record date | Payment date | Documented status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2025 interim | 9.8p | Not re-verified here | 22 August 2025 | 29 September 2025 | Reported paid in 2025 annual report |
| 2025 second interim, declared 5 March 2026 | 9.8p | 12 March 2026 | 13 March 2026 | 24 April 2026 | Officially announced schedule; cash settlement not independently re-verified |
| H1 2026 interim, declared 13 August 2026 | 10.3p | Not re-verified here | 21 August 2026 | 28 September 2026 | Declared; expected payment date in issuer statement, not independently verified as paid |
Ex-dividend date describes the market's entitlement cut-off: shares acquired on or after it normally trade without entitlement to the announced distribution. Record date is the date used to establish relevant names on the register. Payment date is when the company plans or makes the transfer. Settlement rules and corporate-action terms determine the precise entitlement; the dates should never be treated as interchangeable.
The 2025 annual report confirms that the first 2025 interim payment of 9.8p was made on 29 September 2025. For later events, we retain the issuer's published scheduled dates unless a later primary statement confirms completion. A 2026 shareholder notice also explains that the company moved away from cheque-based ordinary-share dividend payments towards bank transfers. That administrative change affects how eligible investors receive funds, not whether a distribution is guaranteed.
Dividend yield requires a compatible dividend-per-share period divided by a share price observed at a stated date. Using a historic annual total against an unspecified current quote can give a misleading headline yield. Likewise, the company's progressive dividend policy expresses an approach, not an unconditional promise of future payments. The board can review its capital allocation as circumstances change.
What Can Move ENT Shares?
Share prices reflect changing expectations about future cash generation and risk, not simply the latest revenue headline. For Entain, investors may respond to UK online and retail trading, international performance, financing costs, corporate transactions, regulatory decisions and changes in the economics of gambling taxation. A stronger operating result does not guarantee that the share price rises: expectations already reflected in the previous price matter too.
Entain's exposure to the US through BetMGM is another important distinction. BetMGM's operating figures are often reported in US dollars, but they are not a quoted USD price for an ENT share. The accounting treatment of joint ventures, investment requirements and the possible timing of distributions can influence how market participants value Entain without turning the venture into a separately interchangeable listed security.
The company has also discussed portfolio changes and capital allocation. A proposed disposal, an announced agreement and a completed transaction can have different effects on what investors know. Any claim about resulting debt reduction, proceeds or shareholder returns must preserve those stages. For the wider legal and strategic backdrop, see Entain business risks and opportunities.
Large shareholder notifications can change without implying that a named institution has managerial control. Entain's share register, voting-right disclosures and board governance answer different questions; our Entain shareholders and leadership article treats those distinctions in detail.
How to Verify an ENT Quote or Dividend Announcement
Start with the official LSE ENT security page to check the listed issuer and ISIN, then use Entain's shareholder information and regulatory announcements for issued capital. Compare a quoted market-cap figure only after establishing its price date, currency and share basis. For historical prices, check whether the chart adjusts for distributions or other corporate actions.
For dividends, use Entain's own Dividends page and the dated results announcement. Record the financial period, amount in pence per share, declaration date, ex-date, record date, stated payment date and whether payment is confirmed. A third-party dividend calendar can be convenient, but it is not a substitute for a company announcement when dates or statuses disagree.
A dynamic-looking graph can still be delayed. Convert GBX and GBP consistently, and never replace missing quotes with remembered prices.

Our Conclusion
ENT is a specific London-listed security. Its price, market capitalisation and dividend record are useful only when their dates, units and legal statuses are kept together. We recommend checking the actual chart and original company disclosures before interpreting a headline figure.
